1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
2. About Us
The Forest Shop sells native seeds, plants, food products, skincare, and merchandise. Our products support conservation and ecosystem restoration across eastern Australia.
3. Products
Accuracy
We make every effort to display our products accurately. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly due to screen settings and the natural variation in plants, seeds, and handmade products.
Availability
All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.
Live Goods
Plants and seeds are living products. While we dispatch healthy stock, we cannot guarantee survival or germination after delivery, as this depends on factors outside our control (climate, soil, care).
4. Ordering & Payment
- All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
- Payment is accepted via credit card, processed securely through Square.
- Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
5. Shipping & Delivery
- Orders are shipped via Australia Post.
- We endeavour to dispatch all orders as soon as possible.
- Delivery times depend on your location and Australia Post processing.
- Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.

6. Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of many of our products, returns are limited. Please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for full details.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
7. Gift Cards
- Gift cards are valid for a minimum of 3 years from purchase date, as required by Australian Consumer Law.
- Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
- We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including text, images, logos, and product descriptions—is owned by The Forest Shop or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product.
This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold The Forest Shop harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of our website.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
